Best Months: April-June and September-October

• April: Green valleys, few tourists, balloons fly 20 days/month, €120 hotels. Cold morning 5°C.
• May: Perfect – 22°C day, 12°C morning, balloons fly 25 days, flowers, best photos.
• June: Warm 28°C, balloons fly 27 days, but crowds start. Book 2 months ahead.
• September: Our favorite – 26°C, harvest, balloons fly 26 days, fewer crowds than summer.
• October: Autumn colors in Rose Valley, 20°C, balloons 22 days, cheapest after April.

Worst Time: July-August and December-February

July-August: 35°C hot, 100+ balloons but 1000s tourists, hotels €250. Winter: -5°C, snow beautiful but balloons fly only 10 days/month, many tours cancelled.

Balloon Season Truth

Balloons fly 300 days/year but best is April-June, Sep-Oct with 80% chance. Winter only 40%. Check weather at 5 AM – if wind >11 km/h, cancelled.
